Optimal Steps to be Taken
Step 1: Free 30 min. consultation by phone - to determine the best course of action
Step 2: Metabolic Work-Up Consult - This appointment with our health coach helps determine the appropriate testing for your child or teen. This workup consists of an adrenal stress test, a mineral taste test, a thyroid screening and explanation of the total program. These tests are all non-invasive and can be done in our office or your home.
Step 3:Appropriate home testing. Options:- Bio Terrain Nutrient Test - Urine
- Toxic/Heavy Metal Test - Urine
- Neurotransmitter (brain chemistry) Test - Urine and Saliva
- Adrenal Stress Index - Saliva
- Metabolic and Hormone Test - Saliva
- Intestinal Pathogen Test - Stool
Step 4: Report of Findings - 1 hour comprehensive appointment with practitioner
Step 5: Customized program - individualized food/nutritional supplement programs
Step 6: Ongoing check-in appointments -as needed with one of our practitioners
Explanation of Above Terms
Consultations:
- The first consultation is 30-minutes with our Health Coach Doneta Lawellin.
- All consults are done by phone or in the office.
- The initial comprehensive consult is one hour and is held after the first test is completed. We will take a complete health history and review initial test results.
- Follow-up appointments are in 15-30-minute increments with one of our health practitioners, in order to review other test results, monitor progress and make appropriate changes. As the body changes, the program must be adapted.
- All test samples are collected in your home.
- Collection test kits are shipped to you with specific instructions and you send the collected samples - urine, saliva, or stool to the appropriate specialty lab for analysis. The lab sends the results to our office, SCICN, Inc.
- One of our practitioners reviews the results with you in detail.
- A program is customized for the child or teen and consists of an arrangement of specific food recommendations, homeopathic preparations, super foods, nutritional supplements and customized nutrient creams.
